PEACE
A Group Exhibition of Medallic Sculpture
Rocked by endless man-made and natural disasters, we live in an increasingly unsettling era of discord. PEACE is a medallic sculpture exhibition that extends from the show CONCERNS, which focused on humans as the root of perpetual misunderstanding, and was hosted by Medialia Gallery in March, 2006.

National and international artists have been invited to participate. Some of the medallic sculpture included in this exhibition has been selected from Medialia's special exhibition cerebrating the new millennium, in which many of the artists created medals with the hope that the year 2000 would yield a shift towards harmony.

For this exhibition, some artists have interpreted PEACE through a filter of political and human strife, while others have represented tranquility in nature, or phenomenon which invoke peace. However this word is approached by the artist and observer alike, it is an idea we strive to attain and exist in.
